Peter Eckstein is a Jewish educator who works with students of all ages. He is a Technology Integration Educator for the Friedman Commission for Jewish Education in West Palm Beach and for Gratz College’s Department of Supplementary Education. As the Founder, Lead Educator and Consultant for JEdHorizons, LLC, he designs curriculum and learning experiences for a variety of educational environments that range from e-learning platforms to traditional and alternative Jewish school settings. Eckstein began his career as a Jewish educator as Education Coordinator on Kibbutz Ketura. He has served as the Director of Education and Programming at Temple Israel in West Palm Beach, FL and Director of Congregational Learning at Temple Beth David in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Eckstein holds an MS in Elementary Education from Nova Southeastern University, a Masters In Jewish Education from Hebrew College, certificates in Education Technology Integration and in Online and Blended Learning Design from Yeshiva University’s Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education; as well as Reform Jewish Educator (RJE) status from the Reform Movement and Conservative Jewish Educator (CJE) from the Conservative Movement.
