Rose Pappo Allen is a retired communications professional who has dedicated part of her life to honoring her parents by helping to preserve their Sephardic heritage. The Papo family history traces back to over 400 years in Sarajevo where they were “Attars”, with renowned apothecary stalls in the old market. Rose grew up in Long Beach, NY where her parents emigrated after surviving WWII, lived in Boston for many years and has been in South Florida since 1984 residing in Wellington. Having served for many years on the Board of Directors, she is currently its beloved president.
