Sandi-Jo Gordon is the middle link of 3 generations of professional artists. She received her BFA from Moore College of Art in Philadelphia. Since retiring as an interior designer, her time is devoted to advocating and educating about art, particularly local resources, through lectures, tours and serving as Chairman of the Miami-Dade Art in Public Places Trust. She has taught classes and chaired panel discussions on Contemporary Art and Design with a particular interest in the extensive history and scope of the contributions of Jewish artists to all visual arts mediums and movements; including many at Temple Sinai North Dade, where she is a long-time member. Her own work which has been featured in several juried exhibitions; and her Holocaust Series of mixed media paintings traveled for many years through the Tikvah Project.
